The Franz Ferdinand is a retreat in the Carinthian mountains – with a total of 144 rooms, 60 of which are large family rooms. Franz Ferdinand Mountain Resort Nassfeld
The hotel is 100 metres from the base station of the local ski lift, thus making it an ideal choice for both skiers and snowboarders. There are also cross country ski tracks available in the area.
The Nassfeld Hermagor ski region is home to the longest aerial cable car in the Alps, and takes people to the summit in just 17 minutes. The resort is known for being one of the best skiing destinations in Austria. In the summer months, one can enjoy the Austrian sunshine and activities such as hiking and cycling. Also, one can enjoy mountaineering, river tubing, summer toboggan runs and climbing in a rock maze. There is a lake nearby. With great entertainment, apres ski fun, and parties galore, this is a perfect choice for the young and young at heart.
