Skiing Civetta
Ski Civetta is the biggest ski area in the Veneto region. It is situated between the Marmolada and Cortina d´Ampezzo and connects the ski resorts of Alleghe, Zoldo, Selva di Cadore and Palafavera. Ski Civetta boasts 80 km of slopes, 24 lifts featuring an hourly capacity of more than 37,000 p/h. All ski runs are equipped with artificial snowing facilities - 80 km of slopes featuring artificial snowing plants and over 100 snow guns. Most of slopes are set between 1500 and 2100 mt. asl, that means a natural snow covering throughout the winter season. Ski Civetta also offers 40 km of cross-country tracks 2 of which are enlightened. Since 1993/1994 Ski Civetta is a Dolomiti Superski member and is linked by means of an efficient skibus connection operating between Alleghe and the Marmolada and thus, the Sella Ronda and the Great War 1915-18 Ski Tour
