Cultural sights

In addition to an abundance of natural beauty spots, the valley also boasts a rich cultural heritage. The Culture Trail in Zgornja Radovna will lead you to several-century-old houses; you will be invited to view the Slovenian Alpine Museum, which tells the history of mountaineering; while the Russian chapel serves as a reminder of the follies of war. A monument to the memory of Jakob Aljaz is dedicated to our pastor and guide who led the way to better times.
