Millstätter See is a lake in Carinthia, Austria, north of the Drava valley near Špital. It lies at an altitude of 588 m, is 11.5 km long and 1.8 km wide, and is the second largest in Carinthia.
Millstätter Lake is one of the warmest lakes in Carinthia, because it represents a large water mass and, with poor inflows and outflows, means a uniform temperature of the lake water.
